6 weird things....

about me! Hmm this could be hard!

1. I am left handed and so is my husband
2. I am 20 years old and have 2 daughters a 7 yr old and a 1 yr old (Im sure my parents think thats weird)
3. I HATE strawberries and grapes... my daughter thinks that weird
4. My baby turned one today... thats really weird to me, wasnt she just born yesterday?
5. I hate feet, and I will not touch anybody's!
6. My Dad's nickname for me is Androopalopalis... see if you can pronounce that! lol

Well I am supposed to tag 6 more people to make their own lists but since all my friends that look at my blog dont have their own... I will just tag my mom!


And I cant forget to tell you all that my baby girl turned one today! I cant believe it, she has been such a blessing to our family! She can make anybody laugh and gets along great with Taylor! I know everybody says this, but man time sure does fly! I just wish her Daddy were here to celebrate this awesome day with her! One thing is for sure Kenna Benna... WE LOVE YOU and HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL!!!!

What a Crazy Week

Well Im hoping this wild week is over. I guess I will start from the begining. During the weekend we went to Rexburg to see my brother Matthew wrestle and we also have family over there so we decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and visit them while supporting matthew with his wrestling. Anyways... on saturday morning taylor woke up sooo grouchy... i mean like bad bad grouchy! So I was thinking... this is going to be a FUN weekend! Well she ended up saying she didnt feel good and slept the whole day. By sunday she was still sleeping all day and had a fever so i decided to take her to the doctor. Well we found out she had strep and a fever of 103. No wonder she wasnt very happy. We drove home from rexburg that day and on monday kennady is being CRANKY!! I took her to the doc and of course she is sick too! She had a double ear infection. Tuesday i wake up and guess what... im sick! So this last weekend... everyone is on meds and relatively happy so i was thinking, yes its finally over! Well monday morning i get Kennady up and she is covered... and i mean covered in a red rash... I took her to the doctor today and apparently it is a virus called rosieola. Thats what the cold like symptoms and fever are from, it aparently wont cause her any pain or itchiness though so hopefully we are done with the sick bug we have been getting!! Here are some pics of her rash just for you Bill! As you can see despite all this she has been in relatively decent spirit!!

Okay this is one of my favorite pictures of Kennady. I love it because she is totally cheesin it up! Everytime you put her sunglasses on, she looks up at you and just smiles away! She thinks she is the coolest kid ever when she wears them!

100 things about me

Okay since my life is finaly starting to slow down at least a little bit... I am planning on being a better blogger! My friend Amanda is trying to get everyone to do a "100 things about me" list. So I am going to try. Who knows I might have to stop a little early but we will see!

1. I am a brunette
2. I am a brown eyed girl, but both my girls have blue eyes and blonde hair!
3. I LOVE taking hot baths, but I dont get to very often now that my hubby is gone.
4. By the way my husband is in afghanistan right now, and has been for a month now.
5. I really do like the military life, but I hate this separation.
6. I love being pregnant, and after I had Kennady I missed being pregnant but loved having her here!
7. I loved labor and delivery! I did have an epidural though!
8. In fact the nurse anethesist that gave me the epidural is one of my heroes!
9. I am twenty years old
10. I have a 7 year old daugther
11. Yes if you do the math that puts me at 13 years older than her... she is actually my step daughter, but I was the only "mom" in her life for a long time
12. I have an 11 month old... I cant believe she is almost 1
13. I absolutely love ice cream, almost any kind
14. I dont like most fruit... Taylor thinks Im weird because I absolutely hate strawberries
15. I love my veggies though!
16. My very first car was a 1989 Honda Accord known as the "Honda Hopper"
17. I love watching wrestling, not that face wwf stuff though! I like real wrestling like high school and college, especially when its my bro!
18. I love watching football games but only when its a team that means something to me. Like BOise St or my brothers high school football games
19. Can you tell I grew up with 3 brothers
20. I am the oldest though so I was always the baby sitter and the peace maker!
21. Sometimes I wish I had more patience
22. I'll admit its hard sharing a kid you consider to be yours, with another mom
23. In my opinion right now there isnt anything much harder than being away from your husband!
24. My husband really is my best friend.
25. I write him a letter or email everyday, and I havnt missed a single day yet
26. I have been married for almost 2 years, time sure does fly
27. I would like to move to england or germany or somewhere overseas, while my kids are young
28. I used to never drink soda until my mom got me hooked on diet coke or pepsi
29. I am trying to drink more water again
30. Im not in as good of shape as I would like to be
31. I live in the same town as my parents and I love that!
32. SOmetimes I secretly wish i could just move in with them, they probably think that I already have because Im over there so much!
33. I miss my husband so much
34. I dont realy like to cook, in fact my husband is a much better cook than i am.
35. I started college but I never finished
36. I would love to start school again in something medical realated
37. I work at a cell phone store and I get to take my baby to work
38. I love silence because I dont get it very often
39. I love loud music though when I am in the car by myself
40. I got married at the age of 18 but its the best thing that i ever did
41. I love to dance but rarely do it
42. I wish I would have stuck to the piano and really learned to play it
43. I love a clean house, but I hate cleaning
44. As soon as my baby is over her double ear infection, I am going to start weaning her from the bottle, but I know she is not going to like that!
45. My older daughter has strep throat so lets just say we have had a very intersting week!
46. Im very thankful for religion in my life
47. I hardly ever make my bed, but my daughter makes hers almost everyday (she does not have a clean room though!)
48. My baby has never had any stranger anxiety.. she will let anybody hold her that will
49. I would like to have at least 2 more kids
50. I have always hated saunas, it gets way too hot in there
51. I used to be kind of a daredevil, but since I have had kids, I wont even go bridge jumping.. I know its weird!
52. I love going boating with my family
53. I love water skiing, but i still havnt figured out the whole wake board thing
54. I love pictures and want to try some photography
55. I finally started scrapbooking again, when i realized all that was in Kennadys book were her ultrasound pictures
56. I hate doing laundry, actually i just hate folding it and putting it away
57. Im terrified that Kennady wont recognize her dad when he comes home
58. Ive always wanted to be a doctor, and if i could i would be an ob/gyn or a neonatologist
59. I can not wear socks to bed, no matter how cold my feet are (thats what my hubby is for)
60.I get cold very easily and my husband gets hot very easily so there is usually some sort of fight over how many blankets go on the bed
61. I usually go to bed pretty late
62. I hate getting up early in fact 8:00 is early to me
63. My daughter thinks Im a great cook and I even get compliments as to how good my tuna fish sandwiches and bowls of cereal taste
64. I was born in Canada, but have lived most of my life here in Idaho
65. I love the beach, but im terrified to go too deep in the water
66. I have swam with string rays twice, both times it freaked me out and I ended up waiting in the boat... you think i would have learned my lesson the first time
67. I have never spent a night with out Kennady
68. I love seeing my husband with my daughters, he is such a great dad
69. I love seeing my brothers with my baby, I know they will be great dads someday too!
70. Im very greatful that my kids know my parents so well!
71. I would love to learn a foreign language
72. I love spending money, but Im am very frugile so i guess i like to spend other peoples money!
73. I am pretty short, only like 5'4" but its a good thing because my husband isnt much taller than me
74. I can actually shoot a gun, and hit what I am aiming at (most of the time)

77. I love outdoors stuff, like dirt biking, snowmobiling, boating
78. I think I am a pretty good mom but there is always room for improvement
79. Respect is the number one thing i try to teach my kids... sometimes I dont think I am doing a very good job at that though

82. I love dancing with my kids, and think its so funny when Kennady starts dancing
83. When I was little I used to get so mad that my dad would take my brother hunting with him and not me
84. Now I dont have the desure to go hunting

87. I love it when people play with my hair
88. I love getting manicures, and feel better about myself when i do, but I rarely get it done because like I said, I am very frugile!
89. I love dressing my kids up, most the time they dont like it as much as i do
90. When i go shopping I rarely buy stuff for myself because I cant get out of the kids section
91. I really dont watch tv, Bill has to turn it on as soon as he walks in the door though
92. I have a bad habit of chomping my ice when I am finished with the drink
93. I love to go on vacation, but most of the time i am ready to come home before it is over
94. I cant leave the house with out at least mascara on
95. It used to take me a long time to get ready, now im quick... it takes me longer to get the kids ready than it does myself
96. I dont enjoy gardening, but I wish i did
97. Sometimes I love having a day that I dont have to do anything! Just sitting around the house and watching movies all day
98. Once I get started on something I get addicted really easily... like scrapbooking
99. I love wearing jewelry but I dont very often... Kennady rips it off of me!
100. I have never had my ears or anything pierced.

These are pictures that I got done of Kennady when she was about 3 weeks old. I cant believe how little she was! Look at those big blue eyes... I love her eyes!! Dont you just love the blanket that she has... my Grandma made that for her! You have to admit that she is just the cutest little baby ever!

Ive been a bad blogger :)

Sorry, I have fallen a little behind on my blogging lately, and everything else for that matter! haha We just found out that my husband will be leaving to go fight the war shortly after Christmas... so I guess you could say I have been a little stressed! Anyways... I plan on posting some pictures from Halloween tonight when I get home from work! That is if I have time and if I remember! I got some really cute ones though!

Road Trip to Rexburg

Taylor was in Boise over the weekend and Bill and all the guys were going hunting so I decided to take Kennady and go on a little road trip and visit all my family over in the Rexburg area. It was a LOT of fun!

This is my cute little cousin Ashlyn. She is going to be one next month! I cant believe it! Isnt she just adorable?

Here are the two brothers, Tucker and Korby, enjoying their turn on the pony! Korby wasnt so sure if he wanted to get on at first but once he was up there he LOVED it! They are deffinately all boy... Tucker can tell you the name of every peice of farm equipment and exactly what it does!

I made the cutest tutus for the girls and so I just had to get some decent pictures of them! I couldnt get Kennady to cooperate so most of them are of Taylor. They all looked better in black and white too! Here are the ones that turned out okay!

This was the only one of Kennady where you cant see her frowning face. She is deffinately still cute when she is mad though!

Here is the only one that turned out pretty good in color. Beautiful Taylor in her big fluffy tutu. She loves getting her picture taken. I was trying to get some of just her and some of just Kennady but everytime I would go to take one of Kennady she would run right into the middle of it.

This is Kennady in her new tutu. I didn't get any good pictures in it because Kennady was very tired and unhappy, but I had to post one for you Amanda. I will try and get some better ones tomorrow!

She could be a Gerber Baby!

Kennady and I had a little photo shoot today. Isnt she just the cutest baby ever. I think she should be the next gerber baby, with her chubby cheeks and such a happy smile!

The BIG Game

This is after the big game. They decided to play horse and even Kennady got to shoot every once in a while with a little bit of help! Dont I have to cutest family ever??

Time to put the Swing in Storage??

This is Kennady when she was about three months old. She just loves her swing. She would swing in that thing as long as we would let her and even fall asleep in it most of the time. It was such a lifesaver!!

This is Kennady in her swing today. She is almost 7 months old now and she still loves her swing, but there is a problem. She will be swinging along and reach out and grab the pole, she doesnt realize that this will stop her. Then she is so big now that the swing is not strong enough to start her swinging again so she sits there stuck in the middle, unsure of what to do next!

Kennady All Nice and Clean

This is Kennady after her bath this morning. She doesnt like to be bundled up in anything. As soon as you put a towel or blanket on her she immediately kicks it right off. She was deffinately happy in these pictures, she had just eaten and was all nice and clean.... with no clothes to tie her down!

Taylor's First day of First Grade

This is Taylor's first day of FIRST grade! I can't believe she is already almost 7 years old! This morning when I asked her if she wanted me to take her to school first she said yes. Then after I was all ready to go she looked out the widow and saw her friend Bailey, came running back to me and said, "Never mind mom I think I will ride the bus today." Good thing I hadnt woken Kennady up yet! So she loved her first day. She said her teacher was SUPER nice, "As nice as Mrs. Modde." Her favorite part of school is PE. She probably gets that from her Dad! After school we decided to start the school year off right and went and celebrated with Eric by getting ice cream! I am looking forward for her to go to school all day so that she isnt bored at home, but I will miss her helping me with Kennady!

Kennady's First Taste of Real Food

This is Kennady's first real taste of real food. Well as real as it can get at her age. She wasn't so sure about it at first but now she just loves it. Everybody Mom, Dad, and her sister Taylor had to try feeding it to her. I'm not sure if she actually swallowed any of it because she has so much on her mouth and everywhere else! One thing is for sure though she is cute even when she is COVERED in rice cereal!!!
